Retain and attract working families and young adults to permanently live and raise families in Wyoming with focused efforts to help improve availability of: appropriate/desired jobs and careers; appropriate training/education; stable, quality child care; housing; necessary services; and desired recreation and leisure activities.
Increase Housing Availability
The Wyoming Housing Trust Fund will be designed to finance Wyoming’s unique statewide housing needs. It will be flexible enough to fund housing for Wyoming’s workforce, homeless citizens, low-to-moderate income rental housing, and moderate-income home ownership.

Child care access
The Department of Family Services directly received almost $49M in ARPA funds, of which $26M is earmarked for drive and thrive grant opportunities to stabilize revenue and recovery efforts for childcare providers. The remaining funds are supporting low-income families through additional child care assistance, developing provider and family training and resources, and enhancing IT systems.
